What is IoT?
IoT stands for Internet of Things, IoT allows many Object to connect to one platform wirelessly. Tv remotes are the best example of IoT devices. all devices which are connected wirelessly to any device is IoT device. IoT allows communication between many devices wirelessly. there are many IoT devices available in the market. Smart LED bulbs are also an example of an IoT device. Nowadays many industries are IoT devices to allow communication between industries devises so they can work together without any human interruptions.IoT uses three-layers to collect data and give the desired output
1) Sensing Devices
Sensing devices collect the data from our surrounding environment, For eg Surrounding temperature and pressure. IoT uses sensors to sense data from the surrounding environment. there are many types of sensors IoT uses, eg. temperature sensor, pressure sensor, gyroscope, thermostat, buttons, and so many.
2) Connectivity
After collecting data from surrounding environments its needs to be data should be stored somewhere so there we need connectivity between sensors and storage devices connectivity can be wired or wireless. For wireless connectivity, IoT devices use Bluetooth or wifi to transfer data from sensors to storage devise.
3) Data Processing
To get the desired output we need to process data that we have collected from sensors. IoT uses Different algorithms for different types of data to process it for the desired output.
The algorithm is selected upon the which type of data has to process, suppose we want to process temperature-related data from sensors then the uses algorithm with is able to process data of temperature.
4) Decision Making
After processing data we need to implement results, For Example, we made a smart bulb with works on user input, If the user claps once then the bulb should on and if the user claps twice then the bulb should turn off then we will use a sensor which will count the claps and give that data to the processing unit then processing unit will process the data where user clapped once or twice and will implement results depend on input data. Here IoT device needs to handle the current.
Why Do We Need IoT?
It helps to make our lives easier and more comfortable, If we take an example of a smart bulb, it automatically turn on the bulb if someone enters inside the room so it reduces our work. If we consider our smartphones we can see weather information in our area in a smartphone so, How smartphone collects weather information? it uses IoT devices to collect weather information and shows it on the screen of our smartphones.
Roles of IoT In Different fields
1)Education Industry
By Using IoT devices we can make Education better that today, IoT has the Potential to Make education better and for everyone. We know many Countries now using smart devices to teach students it helps students to understand things better and with less time.
2) Farming Industry
Many indian farmers are committing suicides due to less farm yield. IoT can solve this problem many farmers lost their farm yields due to unpredictable weather. so IoT can help farmer do detect weather so they can take some precautions before objection.
3) Health Care
Already the health care industry has been using IoT Devices for a long. You would have seen How blood test is performed? there is an IoT based machine That can detect some properties or problems in the blood and gives the output.
4)Automobile Industry
Many Automobile industries now using robots to manufacture cars, So how robots able to do all those tasks? It Uses IoT devices to do all those tasks.
Some IoT Devises
1) Arduino
2)Raspberrypi
